Industrial facility

The manufacturing plant’s original roof leaked at skylight clusters and along the north gutter where ice had bent hangers. Operations required a solution before Q4 production peaks, so we prioritized weekend panel removal and weekday interior protection only where absolutely necessary.

We specified a structural metal panel over new blanket and rigid insulation to meet updated energy code, replaced skylight curbs entirely, and upsized box gutters with internal bracing for snow load.

• Fall-arrest anchors labeled for in-house PM use post job
• No hot work inside odor-sensitive production line days
• Forklift escort for boom lift moves on active dock
• Daily LOTO coordination with plant electrician

Major work packages

1. Demo: Remove panels, wet blanket, rusted purlin clips.
2. Structure: Sister select purlins; replace skylight bucks.
3. Envelope: Insulation, vapor careful at freezer wall junction.
4. Finish: Panels, gutters, downspouts, touch-up, warranty.
